Spring 2007 -- There ya go...after much ado about nothing, a mammoth hard drive on a working machine. Time to load Windows 3.11 for Workgroups, which I did, and then networked it to my LAN here at the house. It's now a fully functional node on the network, capable of playing ANY of the old, original DOS games and apps that I want, as well as some of the first truly “Windowed” applications. Mind you, I had it surfing the NET..WITH some primitive Java Scripting, Flash and all kinds of coolness! The sound was AWESOME as well, althought I was limited to Midi and Wav files as the Math Coprocessor required for MP3 files just couldn't do it (15 minutes to load a standard 3 meg sound file...my oh my how times have changed). But I LOVED this thing so much, I found another one in GERMANY which landed in California via a Navy guy on leave and then it shipped to me for PLAY TIME!!!
